This is a new blog site for me, and a new blog format, so bear with me as I attempt to navigate my way around it.
My Vision is to write here about Quilts and Health. They are both Passions of mine. I have created a poll which I would like you to take, so that I can know more about your health interests.

I am a Quilter and I love other Quilters! I also love being able to live my life without major health concerns, so that I can continue to Quilt. I would rather Quilt than do just about anything else, like cook, exercise, etc., so any health tips I will be passing on to you will be easy and doable.
Something I have just started to do, and it makes a nice transition into my morning, is to squeeze juice from half a lemon into a glass of water and drink it. Jethro Kloss, in his book, Back to Eden, says:
If you are in good health and weigh less than 150 pounds, squeeze the juice of one half a lemon (one ounce) into a glass of purified water and drink this mixture twice a day (one whole lemon a day.) If you weigh over 150 pounds, squeeze the juice out of an entire lemon (two ounces) into a glass of purified water and drink this mixture twice a day (two whole lemons a day.) The lemon juice can be diluted more according to taste.
To help your body get the energy from the food you are eating, drink lemon water regularly. Next to drinking plain purified water, drinking lemon water daily is the most important thing you can do for your health.
